Focus and Scope

Edu TIMES is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across all dimensions of education. The journal serves as a dynamic forum for scholars, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to share innovative findings, critical analyses, and evidence-based practices that advance teaching, learning, and educational development worldwide. Edu TIMES emphasizes both foundational and applied educational research with direct relevance to classroom practice, institutional policy, curriculum design, educational equity, and lifelong learning. The journal welcomes studies that explore diverse educational contexts—from early childhood through higher education and adult learning—across formal, non-formal, and informal settings. The journal particularly values rigorous, well-designed research that challenges assumptions, replicates or refutes prior findings, or reports “null” results. Such contributions are recognized as essential to building a robust, transparent, and cumulative knowledge base in education. Edu TIMES publishes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, theoretical papers, case studies, policy analyses, technical reports, and select proceedings from significant academic conferences. By bridging theory and practice, the journal aims to inform and inspire educators, researchers, and decision-makers across the globe. Policies

Peer Review Policy Double-Blind Peer Review is a cornerstone of scholarly integrity and excellence in academic publishing. Edu TIMES employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to uphold the highest standards of originality, scholarly rigor, relevance, methodological soundness, and clarity. This process ensures that only high-quality, innovative, and ethically conducted research is published, contributing meaningfully to the global discourse in education. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts in the relevant field of education. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. Based on reviewers’ feedback, authors are expected to thoughtfully address all comments and incorporate suggested revisions to enhance the quality and impact of their work. The editorial board oversees this process to ensure that published articles meet international standards for open-access educational scholarship. Plagiarism Policy Edu TIMES defines plagiarism as the unattributed use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or work—whether published or unpublished—including the reuse of one’s own previously published material without proper citation (self-plagiarism). Submitting a manuscript that substantially overlaps with prior publications, even with minor additions, is also considered unethical. All submissions to Edu TIMES are screened using advanced plagiarism detection software. If significant plagiarism is identified at any stage—by editors, reviewers, or editorial staff—the corresponding author will be notified and required to revise the manuscript thoroughly. In cases of severe or intentional plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected immediately, and the author may be barred from future submissions. The journal adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and reserves the right to report serious violations to the author’s institution or funding body. Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure originality and proper attribution in all aspects of their work before submission. AI Policy Edu TIMES requires full transparency regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the preparation of manuscripts. During submission, authors must explicitly declare—via the Copyright Agreement Form and the Online Journal Submission System (JSS)—whether any AI tools (e.g., large language models, text generators, or data analysis assistants) were used in the writing, editing, or data interpretation process. If AI assistance was employed, authors must: Clearly disclose the nature and extent of its use, Ensure that all content remains their own intellectual responsibility, and Verify that AI-generated content has been critically reviewed, validated, and appropriately contextualized within educational scholarship. Manuscripts that fail to provide this declaration or that rely on AI-generated content without proper oversight and authorial accountability may be desk-rejected. Edu TIMES emphasizes that the intellectual contribution, analysis, and scholarly voice must originate from the human author(s). Open Access Policy Edu TIMES is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, share, and distribute worldwide. By submitting to Edu TIMES, authors and copyright holders grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual license to: Access, copy, use, distribute, transmit, and publicly display the work, Create and distribute derivative works (e.g., translations, adaptations for teaching), Print limited copies for personal, educational, or non-commercial use— provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and source, in accordance with Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) terms. This open-access model ensures that cutting-edge educational research reaches educators, policymakers, students, and institutions globally—accelerating innovation, equity, and evidence-based practice in education.
